My students were amazing..

They did extremely well during the carnival. They promoted our stall, spent their tokens and were such darlings when I told them I was sick.

There are so many things that I should write about..

Wonder where I should start from..

Hmmmm...

1) Jobs: I'm glad I made THE move cos I really love the change.. Although every day, I am presented with different challenges, I enjoy teaching these kids.. Getting to know my students better... They are also slowly adapting to me.. Getting to know my new colleagues.. The bosses are simply so grounded, unlike previously.. This, I like..

2) Rides: Every ride, I wanna try different things.. Yes, I still fall but I'm getting better at controlling Orange.. Can't believe I went to Pahang again!! Yes, in the short span of 2 months.. But KMLP is always so warm, I'll never get tired of their company..

3) Love: I've never met someone who is so determined to want to take care of me.. He is always so cheery.. He is always there.. There are too many things that he has done and I am truly impressed.. And the coincidence.. Masyaallah.. Such a small world.. He is really God sent:)

4) Ramadhan: Beautiful month indeed.. I love it so much that I became upset when I realised I couldn't fast on the last ten days:( But Alhamdulillah, I've started fasting and terawih today and I feel really good.. I wanna complete the last 3 nights of terawih.. I hope I'll be able to do that, insyaallah..

This month has been a very eventful month.. Many things happened and my emotions ran wild.. I couldn't help feeling what I'm feeling right now..

At times, I feel really stagnant..

Other times, I feel that this is just a phase.. It'll get better..

Sometimes, I wonder why such things happen/ didn't happen to me..

So, at this moment, I am in awe..

Second on the list, my trip in December.. I went away for 13 days.. From Perak to Perlis to Langkawi to Satun to Hatyai and Krabi.. It was so exciting.. I love every minute of it.. The places we went were awesome and the company was great.. Couldn't be any better...

Thirdly, Wave (ur) Ass.. Finally sent him to Dylan and Shane for a makeover.. I know I owe him one cos he's been a good vehicle.. Time to give him a facelift and parade him around.. It's been a month and he's still not home yet.. I miss him deeply..

Lastly, gotta write about Sexy Orange.. I love him!! Ever since I got him in November, I've done 8 trail rides and I can't say how much I love his performance.. He simply responds to me on uphills and whoops.. Boys drooled when they see him.. The brave ones will ask me if they could try him.. Can't wait to bring him to Nusa tmr:)

Mint's end can dropped and we happily rode past it!!

Yes, I rode with 10 boys and they are a happening bunch!!

Never once did I have to worry about picking up Orange after a clumsy fall..

Some kind souls instantly came to my rescue..

Thank you for the awesome experience guys!!

.. that my next dirt bike shall be one with an electric start.. Most probably it'll be an orange.. 2 or 4 strokes is not an issue.. But most importantly, it will come with an e-start:)

.. what kind of life partner I want.. If possible, not too old.. I mean, if he is old and financially stable, that is fine.. But preferably someone funky.. Someone who can tolerate my interests and pursuits.. If I want a young guy, most probably, he'll be cashless and immature.. But he'll probably be fun and do all (or most) of the things I do!! The worst would be the "old" guys who are cashless, not adventurous and have no direction in life.. LOL!!

It was communicated that very important things (such as this particular situation), needs to go through her highness.. Hence, we (normal citizens of Singapore) adhered to it and e-mailed her.. She didn't respond to the e-mail.. I SMSed her to remind but no reply too..

Parent bumped into her and asked her regarding this case.. She professionally said that this case is handled by her assistant..

Wassup?!

Her assistant can't and wouldn't dare make any decisions on her behalf as he is scared that he'll get "his head chopped off"!!

Dirt(y) rides

1st ride

Date: 10 August 2010 (the day after we came back from Belumut/PD & 1 day before Ramadhan)
Riding partner: Sops

It was horrible.. We reached home at about 4am that morning and I rode home with my BIG bag.. I was soooo tired... Slept and woke up to a light drizzle.. Feeling excited but anxious about the ride, I woke up and got ready... I managed to start my bike, called sops to tell him the gd news and rode off...

Somewhere along PIE, while squeezing in the traffic jam (due to YOG), my bike stalled!! I panicked...

Pushed it to the road shoulder and started to kick continuously!! I tried to remain cool and calm while at it but how could I? Especially with Durango's new full-face helmet, goggles & mx pants.. So close to flagging down another motorist to help me with kick starting..

Finally I managed to start it and rode to Simpang to meet Sops.. Late by half hour..

My virgin ride was gd:) Attempted most of the ruts and hills.. The killer was the soft sand.. I fell many times.. Sops became tired, not because of anything else but cos he had to help me carry my bike after each fall.. There was one part, I literally crawled on the sand!! We went through the jungle-dry and wet areas, the dreaded sand, tight cornfields and lalang area.. We also visited the mx track..

Everything went well in the trail..

Then Sops's bike had to emit white smoke at the end of the trail.. We called 2 tow trucks to send us back.. I know I could've rode home but I wasn't confident.. Hence, I was sent home and then I rushed off to tuition..

2nd ride

Date: 6 September 2010 (4 days to raya, month of Ramadhan)
Riding buddies: Sops and Khai

I still wanted to do a short ride..

This time, it was a whole load of drama to get to TM.. Khidir started my bike at home.. Then, I got a pakcik to help me start in front of Millenia.. Then a CID officer helped me push my bike to the side when I stalled at the junction near SB.. And the worse thing was that, I was in my new full suit!! Dunno where to hide my face..

The trail ride went alright.. We did a short ride cos I was so tired and we were all fasting anyway.. We left the place quite early, washed our bike and was stuck at the petrol station cos of the sudden downpour.. My spark plug blew when we were about to set off to Changi to break fast..

Rode to Changi and ate.. On the way back, realized that my front tyre was flat.. Rode to a few petrol stations but couldn't pump it.. Called a tow truck.. Sent home again..

Bike was dropped off at Hua Chin.. Burned a hole in my pocket for servicing:(

3rd ride

Date: 11 September 2010 (2nd day of Raya)
Riding buddies: Sops, Durango, Farid and Jake

Rode to Durango's place.. Could start it and didn't stall at all along the way.. Rode together to SB.. Ran out of petrol near SB!! Thankfully we were near..

That was an awesome ride:) Happy ride to trail, in trail and I finally got to ride home!!

Of course, I am thankful to these guys who diligently helped me start after a fall, waited for me, carried my bike.. Someone even said I was doing gd in there!!

Couldn't ask for more..

When I reached home at midnight, I was thankful everything went well:)

Need to change the broken signal light bulb, spray disc brake cleaner, lube the chain & spray wd40 all the moving parts..

Then I'll let Wayne rest until the next ride..

Alhamdulillah..

This year's Ramadhan is a bliss=)

Thanks to Mel who assured me that Al Mukminin does the terawih nice and fast.. We went together and I got hooked.. Absolutely loved it!!

After a few nights there, I masjid-hopped with Fanah.. We prayed at Masjid Sultan, Masjid Kassim and Masjid Ba'alwi..

I like the ambience at Ba'alwi the most.. It reminds me alot of Masjidil Haram.. I miss that place..

On the topic of masjid, mom suggested that we go Haj next year.. I thot it's awesome.. Shall save up, for both of us.. And then queue next year:)

Introducing to the world:

My first dirrrrrttt(y) bike..

I know, I've been rambling about KTM2, XR2 and XL2 but guess what?

I settled for this baby: Errol's WR2:)

I guessed I fell in love with it the instant I laid my eyes on it..

It was clean and sounded good..

It totally felt like a dirt bike to me..

That really matters for me I guess..

This was taken on my first ride, the day before puasa @ TM..

Thanks to Sops who diligently helped me carry my bike.. Of course, there were the countless kick starts which was impossible cos I was tired and the sole of the boots were falling off!!

Nevertheless, thanks to Julie for your Gaerne boots which lasted me for half a ride and now it's somewhere in the incinerator..

Thank you Durango for your MX pants, new full face helmet and nice, red Fox goggles.. Awesome, I felt no less like a new dirt biker..

But the pants are wrong..

I'll send them back and wait for my new stuffs to arrive again!!

After many years and lotsa persuasion, I have finally gathered enough courage and said yes to try Kent Ridge mountain bike trail.. Thankfully, the ride to KR was only 45 minutes for me.. Poor thing, the others had to do a 'Tour de Singapore' on mtb..

I like dinner the best.. The pad thai and beef noodles were absolutely delicious=)

Friends: Cycle again? Road or trail, I'm ok.. Weather has been erratic that sometimes, all our riding plans had to be cancelled due to rain:(

I feel like writing tonight. Many things happened recently. The best must be hmmmm.... I can't decide. I enjoyed everything: the dirtbike race, the play and of course the sports day!!

Ieasha said,"This moment is such a turning point for all 3 of us." I thought about it and I have to agree with her. All of us are thinking of quitting our jobs or at least a school transfer. Well in my case, a transfer is not even an option.

I heard many of my colleagues are leaving. My morning buddy is leaving and she is the greatest contributor to my sadness. Gonna miss you babe, although you are only across the street from me.

Men can be such irritants. I wouldn't want to be with one just because I want to fit into the crowd. I want to be with one who really cares about me. But the question is: Where to find a decent man? I'm not a teenager anymore. I don't have infatuations. I don't admire people based on looks or the things they possess. I seek for characteristics that appeal to me. That said, I pray that He will show me Mr Right. Soon, I hope. Insyaallah.

Neway a sidetrack, a little bird told me that Mr Past was kinda jealous that I kept talking about a mutual friend. Wah, that's quite lame! But whatever goes, I guess. It's over.

The trip was a blast!!

From driving experience

to finding the trail head

to getting lost in the trail

and saying all the bloopers..

Our bikes were clean

then caked with sticky mud

and washed at a car wash..

Never seen Usop stare at a map so intensely

Farhanah got bitten by mozzies so bad

Andi trying to shoo the mozzies by smoking

and me getting so pissed off cos I couldn't get my online map to work!!

Nevertheless, we had so much fun..

It was a holiday after all..

I was thinking, I might do this again..

Probably another location soon??

Road and trail rides

Road ride

Cycled 34km last night

BB to end of Mandai Road and back

Got beaten by an ah pek on a motorised bike at the last 6km

Puah and I couldn't believe that it happened!!

We were so tired but really enjoyed the 1.5 hours ride

Went home to wash and (hair) dry my tights:)

Trail ride

I was at Gangsa at 9am!!

How amazing was that?

And while I was waiting for my friends, more cyclists came around

Suddenly there were 10 or more of us!!

We did the Woodcutter's trail

It was good and we reached the makan place at 11.30am!!

Earliest finish time in my riding history

Going home was the worst experience

There weren't any cabs at all:(

I cycled down to Sembawang Road, then back to Mandai

And finally got a cab home, near the zoo

Phew!!

I'm tired..

Caught this movie last Friday night with Sussi and Aisyah..

Although this is not my usual genre, I went ahead to meet them cos I simply wanted the company of these 2 lovely ladies..

The show was quite good actually..

The effects and movie set were impressive..

It was easy to understand and of cos Percy Jackson is cute:)

At the end of the movie, Aisyah declared that she wants to be Grover (mmmbbekk!!!), Sussi shall be Annabeth (hot!!) and I shall be Percy.. Oh well:)

CNY getaway at Ubin

This year's CNY was a lazy affair..

Usop, Andi, Farhanah and I were planning for Belumut, then Ledang.

Finally, we settled for Ubin on Sunday to Monday..

It was really fun..

Nothing much on our agenda..

Just for the fact that the guys brought their bikes to do a night ride in Ketam..

Farhanah and I simply chilled in the dark, at the windy Mamam Beach..

We kinda had a feast in the outdoors..

We had pasta, sambal prawns, scrambled eggs, bread and curry beef!!

I met Erda on the way to Chek Jawa!!

How cool was that?! -Lou

Praying on the windy beach was such a challenge but an excellent experience too..

Farhanah and I managed to discuss about life, in general..

A lot of ideas were exchanged..

The trip ended when we rode to Downtown East to binge at Hei Sushi..

We practically "camped" there for almost 3 hours!!

I enjoyed the trip cos it was so free and easy..

Naz and I skipped our run tonight to chill out at Mac Cafe at West Coast..

We talked over cappuccino, mochacino and caesar salad..

It was good..

After so many conversations with my girlfriends, I can safely conclude that:

I don't need an immature guy
I can't stand people who live without any direction in their lives
The next guy must love me more than I love him
I should just move on
Delete him from my life!!

Friday Night

We drove to "The Rail Mall". Then instead of going to Coffee Bean, we proceeded to Ah Mei. The place was so crowded at 11p.m. Amazing!!

Initially we were like declaring to each other saying that we had had dinner and probably just tea, coffee or hot chocolate would suffice. Then, Sussi became excited and said that she wanted prata and noodles!! Then, I saw the fried, ala Old Chang Kee stuffs. That's when Mika and I became excited. We chatted and ate. Little did we realize that it was already 1.07a.m.

Han Mao called Mika once. We bought 2 more drinks. Han Mao called again. Then we decided to zoom home. When we reached Sussi's car, she realized that she left her phone in it. During the short ride, our dear friend, turned off the air con! No wonder, her air con felt hot and he windscreen fogged up.. Ha ha..

Sussi, time to drive more often:)

Mika, next trip, we shall dress to our nines and check out Ben and Jerry's at Dempsey ya?

I had a close-to-perfect weekend..

It started early this time..

Friday evening

Right after Vannah, I met up with Julz, Minch, Rosz, Alya and Zea for dinner at Hei Sushi.. Food was great and company was fabulous.. We adjourned to Minch and Rosz's place for ginger beer and more bonding time..

Saturday

Went to school; by force.. That bitch came late and still have the decency to stand in front of me and asked why I came... For the first time, I put on my nastiest tone and replied, "I'm here already, what do you want me to do? Leave?" I hate her, man.. One of these days, she'll get it from me.. Ass..

After that, Rose, Faridah, Sangeeta, Kumutha and I went to Coffee Bean, WM, for a drink.. It was so fun cos we were mimicking somebody's behaviour and we're laughing our asses off.. I mean it was a great way to destress.. Hence, the day ended well..

Sobri can't make it for the morning trek.. So, I accompanied my mom to Bt Gombak market.. We lugged the kids along as we walked twenty minutes in the nice weather.. Once we reached, I went to a salon and did a scalp treatment and boy, it felt so good!! I had a nice chat with the hairdresser, a chinese malaysian guy.. Most importantly, he made me look and feel good.. Of course, I became $158 poorer..

In the afternoon, I asked sis to accompany me to JP as I wanted to get new shoes.. In the end, I bought 2 pairs, almost bought 3 pairs though..

Naz even called to check on me:) Thanks gal..

I called Ryan to ask him to fix a road bike for me.. If everything goes well, most prob, I'll do a bike fit this coming week and soon, I can resume my night rides with Naz and Puah:)

For three days, we've been giving each other wake up SMSes and calls and then, together we rode to school, cursing at the traffic (that's me only) and walked as fast as possible to the general office, in hope that we will not be "caught" by any "policemen".

After the drama this morning, I think I've to agree to what A said, "She's very controlling."

That woman is forever wanting to be the first to know. If not, she'll be very upset. But even if you've informed her, she might NOT remember..

So, what do I do?

I spent a long time scrutinizing more than 36 reports in my cupboard and all she cares is HER IMAGE?!

"What will the parents think of me?" she said.

Other colleagues elsewhere are not even doing what I do, and this is what I get? Unappreciated comments?

My baby is 8 months and 11 days as of today=)

Currently, she is crawling all over the house and she's gaining speed.. She crawls towards the door when she hears the "click" sound of the gate.. When we're eating at the dining table, she'll crawl under the table.. Our legs and the legs of the table and chairs posed as obstacles for her to weave her way through..

She can "talk".. and she's loud!! Sometimes, I can hear her from the carpark of my block..

Yesterday, I sent my baby for her weekly visits with her parents. Her parents were not pleased with us this week. Just because we didn't put on her chains with big "+" on them.

Reason why we didn't put them on the baby because they were too big and contradicting. Imagine mom and I, both wearing tudungs, portraying the image of muslim women, then carrying a baby with the christian crosses around her neck!!

No offence to christianity, Louise, but imagine that!! I can't stand this kinda things, it's beyond me..

So there was this drama at that place yesterday, when her dad blew up and couldn't agree with the way we take care of her.. Her mom told me that we should've known about her husband's stubbornness.. That we should've just play-acted the whole process..

Oh man, I hate this kinda thing.. We're doing this voluntarily.. If they're not happy with the way we take care of her, she's free to take her back.. But she should really take care of her own issues first..

A Series of Unfortunate Events

After laying off after Raw Duathlon, my roadies were activated for our late night cycling..

The turn out was good.. We had Julie, Ahmad, Puah and myself.. We started at Science Centre and planned for KTM..

We started cycling and stopped at the junction of JTC.. That's when Julie asked me about my Zen Stone Plus..

My mp3 player, which was clipped onto my cables and put on speaker mode, dropped onto the road (at the famous JE up-slope)!! Only my black clip was left on my cable.. Sob sob:'(

My roadies were so kind to back track and look for my already-flattened-and-crushed mp3 player..

Oh well, life went on..

So we cycled on, towards West Coast Highway and that was when my rear tyre punctured..

Hence, I pushed my bike all the way to the newer Caltex, accompanied by Puah.. When we reached there, Julie and Ahmad were fully rested.. Ahmad did the honour of changing my tube.. Thanks ya!!

We could only pump a maximum of 60 PSI, which was way below my recommended pressure.. So instead of continuing our journey to KTM, we detoured to Science Centre..

I was tired.. Of pushing my bike..

Neway, I went shopping for a full-carbon, women's specific bike.. I found a FELT FW2 that I really liked.. But it's really beyond my budget..

Hmmm, let me shop around for more bikes.. Maybe a Giant or Trek or if someone is nice, I may even push for a Specialized..

The holidays are finally here..

Unofficially, I'll be seeing them on the 8th..

Denise and I are organizing a holiday programme for them at West Coast Park.. I am so excited cos the games that we planned will be so fun!!

Another good news is that Kamilia, Jia and I will be heading to Cameron Highlands on the 9th to 12th!! Sweet rite? I can't wait to go somewhere cooler and greener.. I like:)

My guess is some people simply can't get over things..

They pretended that they understood everything and then they will start their blaming game.. They were so good at "showing their care and concern" but of course people who were directly involved know how sincere they are..

The latest word around:- SOP

Surprisingly, so many SOPs appeared out of the blue when this tragedy happened.. Tighter security, leaving school, temperature taking, etc...

We (other colleagues and myself) were amazed that there are so many SOPs that we didn't even know..

And the worse thing is that, shit happened.. And it happened over 3 weeks ago.. But some people doesn't seem to have ANY and I mean ANY closure.. Or maybe they didn't want a closure..

I'm very disappointed with them..
Just because they look like all they care is to cover their own backsides..
Just because it's easier to point their fingers and blame others..
Just because they wanna uphold their own image..

On another note:

BF went for his ACL surgery last Tuesday..
There was drama at his place before the surgery..

Actually my mom applied for foster care so we're getting a baby.. She's going to fetch her today and I'm so excited.. We already have a baby cot.. Mom went to shop for baby things last night.. So we have a pillow, wet wipes, milk bottles, baby soap and shampoo, baby towel and many more..

I can't wait to meet her.. Soon I'll be buying pampers, milk powder and baby clothes.. I guess it will include waking up in the middle of the night to prepare milk, change diapers and having another soul to light up the house.. Yay!!

They're great but you know, they're NOT sporty enough.

This is the new ME.. Yup, I've decided to put on the tudung after thinking about it for awhile.. No, Faizul didn't influence this change.. It's a personal choice..

It's been almost 2 weeks since I started on my new IMAGE but I'm happy.. My students didn't meltdown at the change, thankfully.. My colleagues almost did, though.. "Collin, Tang Eng and Sophia: This is still the same old Nisah, ya?"

So far, I've cycled, swam and trekked in my tudung, long sleeves, rashguard and pants; the works.. It has been good and positive.. Here is a photo, to celebrate the new ME:)

A Night of Mishaps

We went cycling last night.. The plan was to meet at Science Centre, cycle to Lau Pa Sat, have supper and cycle back.. Usual victims were Naz, Julie, Ahmad and myself..

When I reached our meeting point, there was already an accident at the junction.. Apparently a car and a motorbike had crashed into one another and there were broken pieces of glass on the road.. I had to carefully ride across the junction so as not to puncture my tiny tires..

After awhile, the group gathered and we set off for Lau Pa Sat, hungrily (poor Naz hadn't eaten her dinner).. We reached Lau Pa Sat in about 50 minutes, clocking 20km.. To reward ourselves and of course, we badly need a pit stop, we sat at Lau Pa Sat and ate duck meat satay and bbq chicken wings.. But it was an educational pit stop as Ahmad tried to explain proper cycling techniques to these three (inattentive) girls..

So much for the makan and information overload, we set off from Lau Pa Sat.. As we cycled barely 1km, Julie stopped and discovered that her back tube had burst!! So we stopped and Ahmad tried to change it just to realize that his spare tube couldn't fit into Julie's 4.0 SOUL rims!! Sob sob:(

After much contemplation, we decided that Julie and Ahmad will cab home while Naz and I will slowly (but surely) cycle back to Science Centre.. The same thing happened to MY back tube after cycling 200 metres away from the 2nd pit stop..

Not having an option, we hailed a cab and went back in it as well.. We're quite penniless by then.. Thankfully, cabs accept NETS.. Woohoo!! Naz then sent me home in her car.. Thanks ya:) Drinks on me the next ride!!

I was wondering if something was jinxed that night..

Could it be the accident at the junction before our ride??

Or the excitement of clocking mileage that night??

Or is it the new 4.0 or 3.0 SOUL rims?? he he..

Just to show that we didn't lose our way.. ha ha..

I'll not do justice to Faizul if I didn't post anything about our weekly walks.. Somehow I managed to convince the him to do it and we have done 2 trips so far.. Whistles!!

Anyway, a week after the Rough Ramble, I brought him to the the National Mountain Bike Route at BT.. I had never walked that trail before (normally I'll be cycling or pushing my bike).. Hence, it was quite enlightening to be able to look at the trees, bushes and flowers.. Amazing..

Too many stories to tell BF.. I was ranting all the way, telling him about the craziest slopes and spots that my gals and I had our silly falls..Those will always stay in our minds.. They're the best secrets ever!! I also showed him the spot that my tube had burst during the race.. Yes, it bursted and exploded.. But Julie and I successfully changed to a spare tube!! Cheers gal:)

2nd trip was to Henderson Waves/Southern Ridges.. We started at Hort Park, walked to Telok Belangah Hill, Mount Faber loop and back to M2 @ Hort Park.. We even bumped into Linda (ex-VP) along the way.. Thanks Linda, for the offer but we're quite happy where we are now:) The view was breathtaking.. I love it so much that I wanna do it again.. This time we'll walk from Hort Park to Kent Ridge.. Enjoy the beautiful photos;)

STANDARD CHARTERED SINGAPORE MARATHON 2009

FULL MARATHON - 42.195KM

Yup, Naz and I did it again.. Thanks to Puah and Julz, who didn't turn up, both of us went through the painful ordeal for the third time together..

It was so emotional for us as we didn't train the last one and a half month.. I actually suggested to Naz to chicken out of this run, considering that Puah will be in Laos/ Cambodia and that Julz may be overseas.

But I think, my friend got hyped up when she collected her race pack and persuaded me to run with her. Me being the chicken, already made plans to go to Padang at about 11am on 7 Dec to return my chip and collect my finisher tee:)

Well oh well, I guessed my plans didn't materialize and we ended up running the distance..

No regrets though..

Naz and I took it easy as we ran and listened to our mp3 players.. We're so thankful of the beautiful weather.. I even made friends along the way.. I can't believed that I could chit chat with strangers about bananas, shoes and Mentos!!

The BF adhered to my instructions, the day before and made it to our meeting point with Deep Heat Rub, Vaseline, Ice Lemon Tea and camera=) His presence was much anticipated and appreciated and gone were the feelings of lethargy, giving up and knee pain.. Hugs dear:-*

I guess only Naz could relate to this post cos we went through the whole ordeal together.. I can understand why she was so emotional at the finished line.. Cry all you want gal.. What you did was worth the tears of joy!!

So to my friends out there, let me declare:

I shall not be conned into registering in another full marathon in the future unless I personally and sincerely want to sign up..

Do not even try unless you want to be barked at..

I shall only attempt and succumb to 10km races and nothing more..

Knees, thighs, shoulders, chest and lower back are still hurting like mad today..

2 more days to recover..

Year End Trips

This is the time of the year that I usually look forward to. Yes, this is the period that I would normally travel:)

As planned, I went to Hanoi last week with the Primary 5 kiddos. They are a good lot and I really enjoyed myself. Mdm Norezan, Kumutha and myself practically sneaked out every night to shop the second time, that is, without the kiddos:)

Overall, I rate the trip as 3/5

My personal trip with the BF had to be cancelled.. Thanks to the people from the Land of Smiles.. I guess with the political tensions in Thailand, I would be more than happy to stay in Singapore for this period.

Anyway, the BF decided to go for the knee scope (phewWww!!).. Hence, we'll be putting our year-end savings on the table, for his knee.. No regrets on my part.. Now, my job is to convince him that all that money is going to a good cause, that is, a better knee, a healthier BF, and a happier GF..

On a happy, happy note.. Thank you Kak Naz & Puah for the lovely Alpina helmet.. It's gorgeous alright!! I like:) Let's cycle very very soon..

And thank you Ieasha, Rosz and Zea for the lovely day today.. Too bad Julz can't join us but it's alright, we'll definitely swim the next time round, when the sun shines brightly..

I've never been crazy about presents before..

This time, I was!!

Cos it's The Kite Runner original DVD!!!

Ok, I know I'm a little slow but I missed it when it was showing in the movies alright.. And I didn't give it much thought until Mika told me that it's worth watching.. So, here I was, chanting it to the BF and (woohoo!!), he searched everywhere for it and then it was in my hands!!

How lucky can I be?!

I've to admit, I've been really nasty towards him recently.. Must be the PMS thingy.. I hate it, really.. My emotions fluctuate faster than I can say E-MO-TIONS.. Goodness, and he is still here for me..

To be truthful, amidst all the positive feelings, I can't help but to sometimes doubt him. Not his sincerity, never.. But his other side activities; outings with colleagues, our friends and others. These things might appear insignificant to him but I care (or kepo) and I want to know. Not knowing made me feel incomplete, maybe even to a certain extend, betrayed, like something is happening behind me.

Oh well, so I asked.

And he answered.

Then he asked me why I asked him.

I replied saying I just thought about it and that he had never mentioned it before, so it's ok to ask right?

And he replied yes.

So that was it.

He was very nice before he hanged up..

What was that about?!

Ok, maybe I shouldn't think so much.. No reading in between the lines..
